Last January, the recently opened Central Park of Maple Grove gave residents the chance to enjoy the thrill of the holiday season outdoors. One popular wintertime activity is skating at Central Park’s ice-skating loop.

 

The holidays are the season of indulgence and celebration, a time for comfort foods and rich, flavorful delights before New Year’s resolutions send everyone back to the gym. The gingerbread houses and tree-shaped cookies are at-home staples, but dining out is a time to up the ante.

Judy Stowe’s basement is a weaver’s paradise. When she begins creating a new piece, her fingers move gracefully along the design and she pushes the pedals to lift different sets of strings as if she is playing a melody on the piano.
